11 Year old Indian(Tamil) Girl Vishalini : The person rated with highest IQ in the world

On the face of it, she is no different from other children her age – she loves riding her bicycle, watching cartoons and playing her favorite games. But K. Vishalini of Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli isn’t an average 11-year-old.

Vishalini has just returned home from an international seminar held at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Mangalore, where she was a special guest. Such invitations are pretty routine for her these days

Both NITK of Mangalore and Kalasalingam Engineering College are now more than ready to welcome Vishalini. But her parents want the girl to enjoy her childhood for the next three years before thinking of entering a college campus.

Their only disappointment now is that the state and central governments have failed to recognise and appreciate Vishalini's extraordinary achievements.

Her amazing Achievements:

  • Vishalini’s IQ is around 225. It is higher than that of the Guinness record holder, Kim Ung-Yong, whose IQ is around 210.
  •  She has passed Microsoft Certified Professional and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) with more than 90% when she was just 10 years old - a world record again. (The previous record was held by a 12-year-old boy from Pakistan, Irtaza Haider)
  •  She regularly now gets invited for "guest lectures" on Engineering topics at International conferences and by prestigious institutions like National Institute of Technology
  • Both NITK of Mangalore and Kalasalingam Engineering College are now more than ready to welcome Vishalini. But her parents want the girl to enjoy her childhood for the next three years before thinking of entering a college campus.

Good bye SOPA

The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) was proposed by the US representative Lamar Smith to stop the piracy of online contents. We all know that these acts will only help in shutting down many useful internet services. For the past two days, its been a wild protest against the SOPA and PIPA in the cyber world. As part of it, many websites including Wikipedia and Reddit showed their protest against these acts through their homepages by shutting down them for some time.
At last, we got the news that they are withdrawing these acts. Lamar Smith's words about this: "I have heard from the critics and I take seriously their concerns regarding proposed legislation to address the problem of online piracy. It is clear that we need to revisit the approach on how best to address the problem of foreign thieves that steal and sell American inventions and products"
